Parambikulam National Park is rich in flora and fauna and some of the commonly spotted species of animals are sambhars, wild boars, panthers, crocodiles, spectacled cobras, turtles, black eagles, tiger, sloth bear, chitals, etc. Beside these the park has the largest population of Bison which can be easily spotted during the wildlife tour in Parambikulam.
