Day
01: Trivandrum - KovalamOn arrival at Trivandrum, you will be
received by our representative and transfer to Kovalam one of the best
beaches of Kerala, enriched with coconut palms and golden sands. Check
in to in to hotel, rest of the day relax on the beach. Overnight at
Kovalam.

02: Kovalam-Trivandrum- KovalamAfter breakfast sightseeing of
Trivandrum, covering Padmanabha swami temple, the horse palace,
Magnificent wooden palace, constructed by Travencore maharaja and now
converted to a museum Zoo, Sri chitira art gallery and Napier museum.
These are some of the best places to take excellent Photographs,
overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 03: Kovalam- Kanyakumary-
KovalamAfter breakfast drive to Kanyakumari (96 km 3 hrs),
enroot visit Padmanabha puram palace the magnificent wooden palace
constructed by maharaja of Travencore and proceed to Kanyakumari, the
southern most tip of India, visit Vivekananda rock memorial, Gandhi
memorial etc, watch the sunset at kanyakumari a magnification sight
return back to Kovalam. Overnight at Kovalam. Kanyakumari offers plenty
of chance to take excellent photographs about life in beach and views of
sunset.
Day 04: Kovalam -AlleppeyMorning proceed
to Alleppey (175 km- 4hrs) a district of immense natural beauty.
Referred to as the Venice of the east by travelers from across the
world. This backwater country is also home to divers animal and bird
life with the Arabian sea on the west and vast net work of canal,
lagoons fresh water rivers cris crossing it by virtue of its proximity
to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique place in the maritime
history of Kerala, on arrival check in to the houseboat. Cruise through
the backwaters and stay overnight on the boat; you can take photographs
of life along the backwaters.
Day 05: KumarakomAfter
breakfast the houseboat will drop at beautiful backwater resort at
Kumarakom, check in to resort. A boat rides in to the countryside and
visit to the bird sanctuary could follow. If you are adventurous, you
can indulge in water sports such as windsailing and water skiing. You
can take a country canoe out in to the quite lake. Overnight stay at
resort.
Day 06: Chamundi Hill Palace (Ayurveda resort)After
breakfast transfer to Chamundi Hill palace (65 Km -2 Hrs) nestled in the
lap of nature, on the foot hills of western gats amid a rubber estate
spread over 250 acres of lush greenery. Check in at resort Lunch,

drive to Periyar a scenic joury though the mist capped mountains spice

arrival check in to hotel. In the evening you can go for an evening boat
cruise in the lake to watch animals. Overnight stay at resort.

08: PeriyarAM 0900 Hrs After breakfast you can set out on a
walk through the plantations filled with the heady fragrance of fresh
spice. A boat safari on the Periyar like extends a lifetime's chance to
see the natural beauty and wild animals, mainly elephants fetching water
from the lake. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 09: MunnarAfter
breakfast head for Munnar (115 K M- 4 hrs) a place called as nature
loves paradise. Sprawling tea plantations winding lanes filled with
heady fragrance of fresh tea, all 1800 M above sea level. The whole area
is covered with tea estate and looks like a green carpet. On arrival
check in to hotel, after lunch proceed for sight seeing and see tea
gardens spread 100 s of kilometers, Mattupetty lake and dam which is
located at a short distance from the Indo Swiss livestock project.

Day 10: MunnarAfter
having a early breakfast sightseeing start with Alamode, the highest
peak in south India, which towers over 2695 M. An assortment of wild
life such as neelagiri Tahr, Neelagiri languor, Sambhar, gaur and the
lion tailed macaque are found in the rich tropical foresters around.
Proceed for devikulam; this green township is a nature lover's retreat.
Trout fishing on the Devikilam Lake is a major attraction. Head for
Eravikulam national park, the best place to see the neelagiri Tahr- the
mountain goat of south India. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day
11: CochinCheck out from Hotel after breakfast and we take you
to Cochin (140 Kms / 4 hrs). Arrive Cochin and check in to hotel, in the
afternoon you are free to relax. In the evening enjoy kathakaly dance
show and a sunset cruise. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12:
CochinAfter breakfast We take you for a half day sightseeing of
Cochin, Visit: The Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue- built in 1568 the
oldest synagogue in the common wealth stands, admired by 100s of
exquisite hand -painted Chinese tiles in blue and white. Jews Street,
St.Francis church, Chinese fishing net & the indo-Portuguese Museum.
Later transfer you back to Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

13: Cochin - Calicut (224 kms/6hrs)AM 0900 Hrs after breakfast
check out from the hotel for a drive to Calicut enroute visit Kerala
Kalamandalam, one of the most revered places for the traditional art
forms of Kerala. The Kalamandalam is the cradle of Kathakali training in
India which imparts training in Mohiniyattam, Panchvadyam, Kootiya-
ttam, Thullal, etc. Visit Guruvayur. Guruvayoor is one of the most
sacred and important pilgrim centers of Kerala. Its main attraction is
the Sree Krishna temple. According to belief, the temple is the creation
of Guru, the preceptor of the Gods, and Vayu, the God of winds. Only
Hindus are allowed inside the temple. Overnight stay in Calicut.
Day
14: Calicut- VythiriAM 0900 Hrs after breakfast and transfer to
Vythiri (87 km- 3 hrs) chekin at hotel later visit Lakkidi Ghat Pass -It
is the Gate Way of Wayanad above the Thamarassery Ghat Pass of western
ghat, guests can try a trek through the ghat pass which is long but not
very tedious. Afternoon visit Pookot Lake: which is a perennial fresh
water lake, nestled among wooded hills, is the only one of its kind in
Kerala. Boating facilities, a children's park, a handicrafts and spices
emporium and a fresh water aquarium are among the facilities available
here. Overnight stay in Vythiri.
Day 15: Vythiri - KabiniAfter
breakfast depart to Kabini on the eastern fringes of the Nagerhole
wildlife Sanctuary on the banks of river Kabini, the lodge is a dream
come to for nature lovers. Arrive Karapur transfer kabini river lodge,
freshen up and relax. Evening depart on a jeep ride to the dense forest
of the Nagerhole wildlife sanctuary. You will come with the dozens of
the jungle herds of wild elephants moving majestical, wild bear
disappearing into the undergrowth, rhesus monkeys, spotted deer, samrar,
burly bison and the leopard or the tiger itself in all its fury. Return
back to the lodge for dinner, campfires are arranged at dinner times
where the local Kuruka Tribes will entertain you with their energetic
dancing. Overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 16: Kabini -
MysoreEarly morning depart for a ride in the circular coracle
boat in the still waters of the river Kabini which is an uncomfortable
experience. Thousands of bird chirping along, the silence of the morning
hours, and the naturalist guide with you will help you identity them.

Day 17: Kabini -MysoreAfter
breakfast visit the Art Gallery and river up to Chamundi Hill to see the
Chamundeswari Temple and a panoramic view of Mysore Sri Ran Gapatnan -
where you can see the Fort and Palaces Tipu sultan and his dome. Tipu
sultan's summer palace, Dari Daulat and his Mausoleum Gumbaz are
situated outside the Fort. The interior of the palace is adorned with
guided wall panels, carved ornate arches and colored frescoe. Back to
the hotels for overnight stay.
Day 18: DepartureAfter
breakfast Depart Mysore to take flight from Bangalore (140 Km 3 hrs),
arrive Bangalore airport .End of Tour/ service.
